How long have you been in business?
We are celebrating our 41st year in business. ATA Beilharz Architects LLC (ATA-B) has been in business sinse 1975 and was originally incorporated as ATA Architects.
What is your primary product or service?
Predicting the future. As our company motto states the best way to predict the future is to design it. Our services include facility assessment, capital improvements planning, new construction and renovation design, adaptive re-use, sustainable design, and historic preservation.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've been fortunate to have a talent for problem solving utilizing both my design and business perspectives.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
As a client of ATA-B you deal directly with the company's partners on your project - not someone down the line who doesn't have the authority to make decisions or marshall resources. Partners can make things happen in terms of service, quality, cost and overall client satisfaction. Expertise is another area of differentiation. For a small company we have an extrodinary amount of experience in a wide varieties of project types. As an example we have completed over 85 multi-family renovation projects, 50 commercial renovations, designed over 30 million square feet of idustrial / distribution centers as well as $200M worth of K-12 schools. In addition we have performed facility assessments and needs analysis on over 10,000,000 square feet of buildings ranging from warehouse to schools to medical facilities.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The main office is located in downtown Cincinnati in our newly renovated building. The building recently received a LEED - Gold certification. We have an associate firm, Beilharz Architects, that is based in Defiance,Ohio.

Geographically we serve clients both regionally and nationally. We are licensed to protice in 18 states.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Kraig Beilharz RA, John Kennedy, are Rob Humason, RA are partners. John Kennedy is the managing partner. Chris Burns and Jake Williams are associate partners.
What are your hours of operation?
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST. Monday through Friday
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
There are several compliments that we have received that really made my day. I would say that in general - I am very proud when a client tells me how much they enjoyed working with our company (or a particular individual).
