Interview Q&A
What is your primary product or service?
Besides the museum tours we offer from May 1st through September 30th, Heritage Village offers educational school and scout programs, summer camps, and weekend family events where history comes alive.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The difference at Heritage Village is that the history we represent is local, and connected to the visitors. Each of the buildings in our village come from the neighborhoods where our visitors live, and the history of the buildings is often tied directly to the history of our visitors. Our village is also easy to get to. Families don't have to drive for three hours to enjoy our museum--we're just a mile from exit 46 off of route 275.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Sharonville, Ohio--but that one location includes several buildings from the 19th century that were relocated to the village from all over Southwest Ohio.
